We'll Always Have Christmas by Jenny Hale

We'll Always Have Christmas

First I would like to thank both Netgalley and Bookouture for allowing me to read this gripping new story from Jenny Hale in exchange for an honest review. I was very excited to read the latest festive book as she is one of my favourite authors who never disappoints and We'll always have Christmas is now my new favourite!

This story follows Noelle Parker who is single mum to six year old Lucas. Her family own Hope and Sugar Bakery and Noelle is very passionate about this bakery which was run by her grandmother.

Unfortunately Noelle discovers that the bakery is facing closure and she is determined that she can prevent this by raising funds and revamping the bakery. While this is all going on she takes a job of working as a carer to William Harrington, who lives in this gorgeous old mansion and while she is here she meets his grandson Alex. Both William and Alex have fallen out and are not on speaking terms and there is a mystery surrounding why they have fallen out.
From the moment they meet Noelle and Alex have a connection and the relationship that grows between Alex and Lucas is lovely. As time goes on Noelle breaks through the barriers that both men have put up around them. William tells Noelle his story which has a shocking revelation involving Noelle's family.
Now I must mention of course little Lucas who adds so much to this story. He is the pillar in Noelle's life and while she is struggling with everything else going on around her, Lucas is the light in her life. With plenty more drama unfolding she certainly has plenty to be getting on with never mind trying to save her beloved bakery in the process.

I absolutely adored this Christmas story and the setting really added to it. Amazing characters that you invest in right from the first page and can't help but fall in love with them. It is truly a magical tale!

Enjoy!
